Jolly Josh

3rd October 2022

We spent some time at Jolly Josh today. What a fantastic achievement by some very dedicated people. This facility for children and teenagers with severe disabilities is second to none and mainly achieved by fundraising.

We are so glad to be able to support them as much as we can, we left Rachel with a cheque and some sensory toys totalling £1000 👍🙏

They started off at a local school doing one morning a week and having been gifted their new building for 10 years it has been transformed into a state of the art facility.

A sensory floor with so many interactive options and a spa pool and the wet room is equipped with hoists and showering equipment. Parents are able to wash and shower their children so much easier than at home.

I was blown away by the dedication of the staff,

We wish them well 🙏

Can’t believe we are into October already 😳 It’s the month that Littleborough turns pink!

Its now our 5th year of helping to raise funds and awareness of all forms of cancer, this year even more so having felt it’s full force with the loss of 2 of our staff.

CANCER SUCKS, but it will be beaten 🙏 We are now fully pinked up ready 🙏

As usual we have the big trolley of pink goodies, the basket of pinkness 🙏

And to please everyone a hamper of pink wobbliness ( pink gin ). Tickets are now on sale at the counter only £1 per strip. It will run for the entire month and drawn on the 31st of October,

Best of luck 🤞🏿

Our memory tree is also back up and is sitting on the counter 👍

Update July 2021

19th July 2021

As we continue to expand to help more families in need we are getting overstretched and need quality volunteers
As well as the Hub in Littleborough we also have our baby and toddler shop, Second Time Around, on Hare Hill Road.
We have also taken some space in the old M&S building on Yorkshire Street selling surplus furniture. Please support them.

Their mother died in childbirth and they were brought to the baby home by dad who couldnt feed or look after them, he visited all the time and helped to feed them and prepare to bring them home ,
