Our aims and objectives are to support the relief of local people in need, by reason of youth, age, ill health, disability, financial hardship and Persons suffering from displacement, persecution and other disadvantage, living in, but not exclusively in the Rochdale area.

Where We Are

The hub has recently moved to 111 Church Street – this is where donations can be dropped off and sorted by our dedicated team  to be sent where they are needed or through to the shop. The Charity Shop is an Aladdin’s cave of bargains – clothes, household & small electrical items all priced to sell to raise much needed funds for our nominated causes.

Donations for the younger members of our community are sent to our dedicated shop on Harehill Road. You can be assured of an abundance of quality preloved children clothes up to the age of 5 along with baby items, toys , books and gifts.

The Rochdale Resource Centre is a vital operation where support workers can collect essential goods for families in need. The stock is made from your kind donations and from the proceeds of the charity shops. Local Families In Need

actionforchildren.org.uk estimates there are 4 million children in the UK living in poverty. That’s 30 per cent of children! We can help by donating your unwanted items to families in need.

Some of The Many Local Charities & Groups We Support

This facility for children and teenagers with severe disabilities is second to none and mainly achieved by fundraising. We are so glad to be able to support them as much as we can, we left Rachel with a cheque and some sensory toys totalling £1000

Its now our 5th year of helping to raise funds and awareness of all forms of cancer, this year even more so having felt it’s full force with the loss of 2 of our staff.

Reuse Littleborough have sponsored the training tops for the two Littleborough Juniors under 10’s teams (Yellows & Blues) ensuring that all 22 players will be warm whilst playing this autumn and winter.

The post from last night re the profile bed has had a lot of interest 🙏Sometimes i think i am getting out of my depth with disability items 😳So many other charities would not go anywhere neer them , But I HATE WASTE , I wont see this go in a skip, But trying to put a price on it is also difficult 😞 If i price it low someone will buy it to resell it 😳Dont want to overprice it when people in real need could use it, 🙏So maybe just send me a private message with your details and i will sort it, 🙏Same with the wheelchair 🙏 ... This is the table tennis table that was earmarked for a skip 😳 ( i hate that 😔 ) as it is in fantastic condition we could have sold it for lots of dosh , but its not what we do , Priority is always to help our community with groups that dont have a budget , It was delivered yesterday to a local school that will be used for fitness and sports at break and dinner times, team building skills, providing sensory movement breaks for our students , We also provided 4 new bars and some balls , They are very grateful ❤️We still have the pool table on offer and again its not about the money, Please message me with what it can be used for, It is Not coin operated and will need collecting ( its heavy 😳 ) A lot of these offers come from schools, If only there was an alternative to a skip 😳If only there was somewhere to send them for other organisations to see 😳😳😳O&U 🙏🙏🙏 ... This is a full size table tennis table that folds away for storage 👍I have it in our resource centre , its in fantastic condition 😉 Looking to pass it on to any youth group that could use it , Donated an electric wheelchair this week to a young man that was left in tears, 🙏🙏🙏Collected an electric bed today that has only been slept in for 3 days 👍🙏🙏Our mobility scooter department is looking great , first up best dressed @Struggling really bad for staff this week ( again ) ( holidays ) but managed to keep things going 😉 ( just ) We still need help sorting all the amazing donations that arrive daily 🙏🙏🙏Ended up on the collection van today , tuned some TVs and sorted the rag man, Im not whinging 😳Just pointing stuff out 😉We are looking at getting a new van 🙏 but need more drivers and co pilots ( lifters ) 😉If we had the help we could run 2 vans 👍One day a week helps us so much 👍O & U 😎 ... What we do 🙏How we do it 🙏And why 🙏As i keep saying we seem to have created a monster 😳Our Resource Centre And Baby Bank in Rochdale are our main priority, But to filter out the greedy from the needy we have to deal with support workers that are qualified to identify a real need , As you will see in previous posts we love to help our community especially groups that have little or no funding, Hence the post about a fantastic table tennis table that has recently been donated, now we have a brilliant pool table up for grabs, its not about the money, 😳 its to help young people 🙏The profiling bed we have could be sold on Ebay for about £2000 , But again it needs to go to someone local that is in real need, 🙏I dont know how i got to be the disability guy 😳We still have Zimmer frames4 wheeler walkers, crutches, shower chairs ( of all sizes ) and lots more, not for sale just a donation, We have a waiting lust for wheelchairs, 👍We are now managing 4 venues, It is very stressful for me and my loyal volunteers, It shouldn’t be like this 😳But how many times do i have to keep asking ? 😳SELF FUNDEDWe never ask you for your hard earned money , VOLUNTEER LED, We pay no-one a wage, Come and work on the van 👍Come and join our management team 👍Come and tune TVs 👍Drink tea 🍵 Have a natter 😉You will love it 😻 O&U 👌reuselittleborough@gmail.com Text me 07951730458 ... To say we have some weird and wonderful donations is a massive understatement 🤣Will the people that showed an interest in the table tennis table please message me with your information and details, 👍The disability tractor left the building today to a very worthy chap that was struggling, Still got 4 mobility scooters that wont be in long, Collected this electric profile bed this week, its hardly been slept in and its in Immaculate condition, Feel free to research it 👍When pricing I try to balance between someone in need and someone wanting to sell it on 😉Now that the school holidays are behind us im hoping the staff drought is now over and we can get back to normal, ( short staffed but coping ) Still hoping to get a NEW van but holding off till we can get enough drivers, So 5 days , 5 drivers , 5 helpers , Even one day a week helps so much , Selling our surplus furniture is a bonus but now we have to deliver 😉O&U 🙏 ... I was proud to assist in the formal opening of ReUse Littleborough at its home in the old Royal Oak pub in 2018. Since then it has flourished  going from strength to strength, opening a second retail unit in Littleborough as well as operating from a location in Rochdale centre. It helps all the communities of the Borough in all aspects of need as well as extending overseas.
If ever an establishment deserves charity status it is Reuse Littleborough for going above and beyond. Long may it reign.

Can’t thank you enough for opening up on Bank Holiday Monday to assist my mum who, due a health condition, was in urgent need of a rise and recline chair.  I contacted you on Saturday and by Monday lunchtime she was comfortable in her own home for the first time in weeks and able to rest up and is now slowly recovering. Thank you so much

I would like to say a heartfelt thank you. When my mother in law suddenly became poorly it was a great shock for us all. Overnight my role changed from daughter in law to almost full time carer. As her mobility decreased it was the hub that I was able to get the necessary equipment from to aid her, and so fast might I add. We are also eternally grateful for the never ending supply of incontinent products you were able to give to us. The panic and upset when we couldn’t get these supplies from local pharmacies was quickly halted with a phone call to ReUse Littleborough. When your world is turned upside down it was a great comfort for me and my family knowing  that we had such a compassionate, caring and resourceful service on our doorstep from yourselves.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you. I called in recently to see if I could get hold of a wheelie walker for a lady who lives on her own. Unfortunately her mobility has deteriorated due to Parkinson’s disease resulting in a couple of falls. Very little help on offer from anywhere else so I popped in to the hub in Littleborough. Problem solved within minutes. The team were so kind and immediately helpful. No red tape or waiting for appointments. The availability of the walker has made such a difference.
