COMMUNITY SINCE 2015
Our aims and objectives are to support the relief of local people in need, by reason of youth, age, ill health, disability, financial hardship and Persons suffering from displacement, persecution and other disadvantage, living in, but not exclusively in the Rochdale area.
The hub has recently moved to 111 Church Street – this is where donations can be dropped off and sorted by our dedicated team to be sent where they are needed or through to the shop. The Charity Shop is an Aladdin’s cave of bargains – clothes, household & small electrical items all priced to sell to raise much needed funds for our nominated causes.
Donations for the younger members of our community are sent to our dedicated shop on Harehill Road. You can be assured of an abundance of quality preloved children clothes up to the age of 5 along with baby items, toys , books and gifts.
The Rochdale Resource Centre is a vital operation where support workers can collect essential goods for families in need. The stock is made from your kind donations and from the proceeds of the charity shops. actionforchildren.org.uk estimates there are 4 million children in the UK living in poverty. That’s 30 per cent of children. We can help by donating your unwanted items to families in need.
This facility for children and teenagers with severe disabilities is second to none and mainly achieved by fundraising. We are so glad to be able to support them as much as we can, we left Rachel with a cheque and some sensory toys totalling £1000
Its now our 5th year of helping to raise funds and awareness of all forms of cancer, this year even more so having felt it’s full force with the loss of 2 of our staff.
Reuse Littleborough have sponsored the training tops for the two Littleborough Juniors under 10’s teams (Yellows & Blues) ensuring that all 22 players will be warm whilst playing this autumn and winter.
