Management Lead Volunteers

Gordon Gwynne

I have been part of Reuse Littleborough since 2018, My career had been in retail for over 49 year working for Woolworths and as a Director and senior manager for Dunelm. And following retirement as a retail consultant .  My family have lived in Littleborough for over 30 years and being able to help those less fortunate than myself is so very rewarding”.

Katie

“I’m Katie, I have been volunteering with Reuse Littleborough since 2016 when I started helping out with collections and helping in our first little base in Smallbridge. I was excited to join Reuse Littleborough because I’m passionate about the environment and keeping quality items out of landfill and giving these things to those who need them makes sense to me! I’m now the treasurer helping to look after the finances and also co-ordinate resources for support workers to make sure your donations reach the families who need them most”.

Michael Bamford -Founder

“I am a local man from Littleborough & retired businessman. Having seen poverty around the world and the waste we generate inspired me to help those in need and the general public as a whole. Restrictions in helping third-world countries allowed me to focus on my immediate locality. I set up Reuse to reduce waste and provide the much needed help & support for those in a less fortunate position than myself. There are times when your efforts are recognised and it was both humbling and a complete surprise when I was nominated for Rochdale Man Of The Year which resulted in raising our profile.”
